Take a break from city life and join us in exploring the Hunter Valley region with Eco Platypus Tours.  Offering small group travel experiences to stunning vineyards in the Hunter, capturing not only views but hidden foodie delights locally produce and waiting to sample. 

We’ve tried to include a diverse selection of hand-picked tastings with a little something for everyone, such as chocolate, fudge, beer, cider, wine and infused vodka.  Visiting renown wineries like Hunter DistilleryMount Pleasant Winery, Allandale Winery and Matilda Bay Brewhouse.


Located 2.5 hours from Sydney, join us for a relaxing day in the Hunter Valley region.   Visiting prestigious vineyards and small friendly boutique wineries is definitely the best way to enjoy a day out with family and friends.   Our first stop is Hunter Valley Chocolate Factory, where we get to indulge in hand-made fudge and Belgium chocolate samples to kick start our tasting journey.   Owner Peter, has a reputation for producing quality flavorsome innovations which combine Australian fruit and nuts into creative tasty treats.  Definitely a great place to pick up a few gift packs for your friends, if you can hold off from eating them before we return to Sydney.

Visiting the Hunter Distillery located in the heart of Hunter Valley wine country at Pokolbin famous for producing organic vodka and liqueur tastings.   With a rust shed charm and stunning backdrop views this distillery is definitely one of the major highlights on this Hunter Valley Tour.   

Sample these premium quality top-shelf spirits in creative test tube glasses, and if you get the opportunity don’t miss your chance at trying their award-winning Copperwave Gin!   With over 9 different infused Vodka’s and 15 different style Liqueurs to try, this is sure to be a major highlight on our Hunter Valley Tour.  


Stopping for lunch at the rustic-chic Italian style Matilda Bay Brewery with a complementary cider or ale to enjoy with your meal.  Allowing plenty of time for those who want to enjoy more craft brew tastings before moving onto our next stop.  The afternoon is spent sampling Semillon, Shiraz, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Verdelho famous from this winery region.   With two of our favourite wineries, especially selected for their commitment to excellent customer experience and quality wine.
