Get yourself ready for an exciting adventure, because in this Grampians Tour we are going to explore the wilderness of eastern Victoria. We set out on a journey to the rugged mountain ranges of the Grampians National Park, where you can bask in the amazing sights. Surrounded by beautiful spring wildflowers, majestic waterfalls, panoramic landscapes, exotic wildlife, and lush vegetation.  Our Grampians Day tour is the perfect way to explore the Grampians and the rest of the outback of Victoria.  On every tour, you will have an experienced local guide who will be following a pre preplanned itinerary designed to deliver the best of the Grampians with all the iconic location in a single day.

Detailed Itinerary of the Grampians Tour


Sitting on the Victorian volcanic mountain range located at 235 kilometers west of Melbourne, the Grampians National Park is home to diverse varieties of flora and fauna. Many of which are native to Australia and endemic to the area. The Grampians is home to a large biodiversity of plants and wildlife hosting over 200 species of birds, 35 species of mammals, and 800 native plant species

Leaving Melbourne around 7:40am in the morning. En route to the Grampians National Park, we pass through the historic towns of Beaufort and Ararat.   We stop for morning tea in the quaint township of Beaufort. Be mesmerized by the charm of the town in its natural beauty as you sip that hot cup of tea/ coffee.  Relax, take a deep breath, and feel the warm embrace of nature as we begin our Grampians tour


Traveling straight to the heart of the Grampians National Park, to the scenic town of Halls Gap where you can explore the natural beauty of the Wonderland Ranges.  Enjoy stretching those legs as we walk along the bush trails, always on the lookout for birds and wild animals in their natural habitat. You’ll be able to spot kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, echidnas and emus in the wild. 

After the morning’s nature walk, we take a rest stop in Halls Gap a great spot to pickup some lunch from the local cafe or bakery to take away and enjoy in this beauty landscape.  This picturesque township is surrounded by 360 views of rugged mountains, lush Australian bush vegetation and diverse wildlife.  Take the time to enjoy the serenity of nature.

We then head to the heart and soul of our Grampians Tour with a visit to the award-winning Brambuk Cultural Centre, where you can experience Aboriginal culture and appreciate the rich indigenous heritage from this region.   Learn about the region over 5,000 years ago and listen to the tales, legends, and myths surrounding ‘Gariwerd‘ the indigenous name for the Grampians. 

Our next stop includes a bushwalk to the Boroka Lookout, to get the spectacular panoramic views of the Grampians. An alternative is Lake Bellfield to experience the fantastic vistas of mountain ranges and rock formations.  Don’t hesitate to request a stop to if you see an amazing photo opportunity and landscape shots to capture. Perhaps a group photo would also be a great memento of your Grampians tour. 

Take a hike to the Balconies Lookout and the famous Jaws of Death.   From here we have the perfect angle to view the amazing rock formations and mountain ridges. The iconic Jaws of Death featured in the Japanese animation “Princess Mononoke.” You can enjoy the beauty and picture perfect mountain views on the Grampians Tour from the Reeds Lookout.

We trek the trail down to the base of MacKenzie Falls or Silverband Falls, experience the power of these majestic waterfalls to listen to the calming music of nature.  Hear the sound of the water falling against the rocks and the songs of the birds among the dancing tree branches. Be refreshed and be rejuvenated as you breathe in the clean bush air.

On the way back to Melbourne, reflect on your Grampians tour experiencing one of Australia’s ancient mountain range is definitely something spectacular and memorable. Stopping along the way to grab dinner as it will be late when we arrive back to town, at own expense.   

Due to the nature of this trip and for safety reasons, our Grampians tour is not suitable for infants or children under 7 years old.  Passengers must be able to complete at least 2 hours of hiking and nature bush walking throughout the day.  We highly recommended you have a moderate level of fitness, before embarking on this great adventure. 

This Grampians tour includes morning tea, park entry fees, guided bush walks, entertaining commentary and professional tour guide on board.  Our expert drivers will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a journey into the ancient mountains of the Grampians National Park in our air conditioned vehicles.   

All you need to bring is the spirit of adventure, wear cool/warm clothing and a pair of comfortable walking shoes. We encourage all passengers to bring there own water bottle as we provide water refill stations on board our bus.  Let’s go explore Australia’s raw landscape with guaranteed wildlife, a full day of fun and excitement.
